Forge is Greater Manchester’s social and support group for 18+ trans men, transmasculine people and AFAB (Assigned Female at Birth) non-binary people.
Under its former name, MORF, the group has existed for more than 15 years, helping support trans and non-binary people in the area and serve as a source of information and representation for the trans community. It was well known for the MORF Binder Scheme, a scheme which collected donated chest binders from members of the community and redistributed them to those in need all over the UK.
In 2018, MORF underwent a hiatus. It was picked up again in 2019 under a new committee and rebranded as Forge. The Binder Scheme was also resurrected, and is now hosted at the new Forge Binder Scheme website.
We continue to be dedicated to providing a relaxed and supportive space for all AFAB trans and non-binary people in Greater Manchester, so why not come along to one of our sessions?
